Soo & Associates was established in 2003 by Alan Soo. We are located in Birkenhead, Auckland. Our firm provides services in accounting, taxation, auditing, body corporate management, business services and for people moving to New Zealand.
Our clients include small to medium sized companies, partnerships, self-employed, family trusts, real estate agents, body corporates and new migrants.
Alan has built a good reputation with his clients through his interest and care for their business and personal needs. A lot of his new clients are gained through recommendations from his long term clients.
Alan is a qualified auditor approved by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In 2016 Khee Mee Soo joined Alan as partner to extend the personal service to our clients at the high standard they expect and are used to.
Both Alan and Khee Mee are members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and fellows of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK.
Alan Soo, Partner
Alan has a variety of skills and wide ranging experience being his clients trusted advisor and confidant over 30 years. He worked in London before migrating to Auckland and then setting up Soo & Associates.
His approach to client care is to care about the clients, their families and business. Alan spends time talking to clients and understands them. In this way, he provides the best possible advice to help the clients achieve success and satisfaction through business expansion, asset growth and protection, succession plan and personal wellbeing.

Khee Mee Soo, Partner
Khee Mee has over 20 years’ accountancy experience in the commercial and public sectors in London and Auckland. She also held senior management roles in local government for several years.
Her experience included business services, auditing, risk management, project management, financial reporting, business planning and budgeting, management and board reporting and governance.
This rounded experience enables Khee Mee to provide services which are beyond numbers to our clients.
She advises clients on business planning, process improvements and efficiencies, statutory compliance and governance matters.
